SOMOS Experiences supports Danone in launching the first B Corp farm in Europe
Last week, Danone marked a milestone in the food industry by launching its sustainability roadmap from the farm to the farm. An event held by the SOMOS Experiences Barcelona team at More Holstein (Bétera, Valencia), a Danone partner for over 40 years, the first farm to obtain B Corp certification in Europe, and the second in the world.
For this event, the team travelled to the Valencian Community, with the aim of transforming the meeting space, as well as carrying out the production and coordination for its staging. This was a unique challenge, during which an area was adapted to present the brand's next steps.
The event was attended by figures like François Lacombe, Managing Director of Danone Iberia, Begoña García Bernal, Secretary of State for Agriculture and Food from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, and Nuria Montes, Regional Minister for Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism in the Government of Valencia, as well as the media, who lauded this milestone.
United by common values
As presented in this roadmap, Danone is taking a pioneering step to respond to the needs of the yoghurt category for the coming years, making progress in transforming its entire value chain from the source, with the aim of achieving a sustainable transformation, as well as delivering the best products to its consumers. These values reaffirm the commitment of SOMOS Experiences, not only to carry out sustainable practices internally, but also to work with partners and clients who share similar values, through which we can contribute to building a better legacy for the planet.
