SOMOS Experiences and Fundación Callia: a gala where art found its stage

Some projects are a challenge. And then there are those that, beyond that, are a true privilege.

Fundación Callia entrusted our luxury division with the transformation of the Gallery of the Royal Collections, a unique space, steeped in history and beauty, into the setting for its International Philanthropy Awards. An event where art, legacy and the people who make it possible took centre stage.

Our starting point could be no other: absolute respect for the venue and everything it represents.At the same time, the ambition to create a fleeting experience that would engage in dialogue with the space, without overwhelming it.We had just four hours to make it happen and turn a monumental vestibule into a grand gala dinner.

Every design decision was guided by this principle:

Imperial tables aligned with the solemn lines of the architecture

A colour palette that blended with the space rather than competing with it

Subtle, elegant details, designed to be almost invisible… yet entirely intentional

And as the final flourish, an art auction with purpose: raising funds to restore works by great masters of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
