Meet... Álvaro Salvador

Álvaro Salvador joined SOMOS in July 2022 as Creative Copywriter, a position that has given him the opportunity to take part in projects he is very proud of, such as Fyuz Summit for TIP. Despite his passion for events and creativity, Álvaro confesses that, in another life, he would have preferred to be a technical architect. Anyway and above all, his dream of working one day on the organisation of a large-scale event, such as the Oscars or the SuperBowl, persists.

How would you define yourself in three words?

I would define myself as an organised person, which sometimes makes me stubborn, and I would say I am transparent. 

What is your daily routine at work like?

My daily routine at work starts with receiving a brief, followed by meetings with the creative team to establish the concept and the idea we are going to develop. 

We have many follow-up meetings and work closely with designers. 

We are in constant communication to ensure that our projects are aligned with the client's goals and vision.

Which project are you most proud of?

Despite having a relatively short experience in the group, one of the projects I am most proud of is the FYUZ event, the first congress we organised. 

We recently won the prestigious Eventoplus GOLD award for Best Congress and it is an achievement I am particularly proud of.

What event or project would you like to work on in the future?

In the future, I would love to work on organising an Oscar gala or an event as massive as the Super Bowl, an event that millions of people could watch.

What would you have done if you had not chosen this profession?

If I hadn't chosen this profession, I would have studied technical architecture. I have always been attracted to the design of spaces.
