A company's mission, vision, and values allow it to define itself, what its objectives are, its structure, its culture, its role in society, and how to face any decision or problem. In short, they are the pillars on which a company stands and help to define its market strategy.

According to an article in the Harvard Business Review, “Companies that enjoy enduring success have core values and a core purpose that remain fixed while their business strategies and practices endlessly adapt to a changing world. Core ideology combines an organization’s core values and core purpose. It’s the glue that holds a company together as it grows and changes."

Zig Ziglar, writer, salesman, and motivational speaker, says that: “if people like you, they will listen to you, but if they trust you, they will do business with you.”

A company's mission.

A company's mission is defined as the main reason it exists, that is its purpose, objective and function within society. In this way, a company's mission allows it to establish a business plan and build coherent market strategies. It must also answer questions such as: What do we do? Why do we do it? And for whom do we do it? This is what sets companies apart. In fact, a mission statement can become an inspiring slogan for workers.

A company's vision.
A vision allows us to define the path we must take to achieve goals in the medium and long term. To do this, we must clearly and realistically represent a company's identifying principles and answer questions such as: What do we want to achieve? Where are we going? Where do we want to be in the future? And how are we going to get there?

Corporate Values.

A company's values should perfectly complement its mission and vision. They are the principles on which a company's actions and decisions are based. They define the guidelines we use and directly influence a company's development, work dynamics, customer service, brand prestige, and a company's social and environmental awareness. 

Corporate values must clearly define the company's and employees' ethical behaviour and be consistent with the mission and vision. These values must answer questions such as: Who are we? What do we believe? How are we organised? 

Three Pillars that set companies apart. While these three concepts are crucial to differentiate companies from the competition and determine their positioning, they are also strategic guidelines that determine day-to-day tasks.

In addition, these guidelines help us achieve the desired objectives. In order to advance together, here at SOMOS Experiences, we transmit these three concepts to each person who forms part of our project.
